We have redesigned graphical identity for Laatutavara.com. We wanted to embrace the long tradition of the site, but also clarify and bring it up-to-date.
Main goal of the website renewal was to give better user experience for our customers: with faster and more responsive site.
We have kept the vast back-catalogue of our products as it has been. This is important source of information for collectors and people enthusiastic about Scandinavian design.
Some of the new features
From now on, products of back-catalogue are marked more clearly with “SOLD” badge and dimmed product thumbnail image. They appear at the end of product listings.
With back-catalogue product, the price information is followed by time stamp which indicates when product price was updated. Time stamp data of price is important because, price of vintage design items is developing by supply and demand and changes in price can be drastic.
We have picked the most unique and rare items from our collections to be displayed in the Showcase section. We recommend following this section closely: after an unique product is sold, there might not be a similar product available in long time.
